Philosophy

Our goal is to help our patients keep their teeth and maintain optimum oral health for a lifetime. In doing so, each individual's treatment may vary according to needs and wants. Health, function, comfort and esthetics will be taken into account. This may range from "patching things up" temporarily, to "wellness". This is the condition in which the teeth, jaws, muscles, and gums work together and do not break down. Everyone in our practice operates as a team member. All have been trained as professionals and we take pride in our professional ability.

Michelle Hereford, RDH

I am originally from LaMoille, Illlinois which is a small rural town approximately 90 minutes southwest of Chicagoland.  I have been residing in Huntley, Illinois for the last five years with my husband, Jeff and my 2year old son, Mason.  I enjoy sports, spending time with friends and family, reading and being in the outdoors.  Mason keeps me very busy and I really enjoy any time I can spend with him playing, reading etc…

I became involved in dentistry as a dental assistant in 1999.  I fell in love with the dental profession and therefore decided to pursue my education in Dental Hygiene.  I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Illinois University in 2004.  Dentistry continues to be my love and is extremely intriguing to me.  There are always new technologies and clinical aspects that keep me striving to continue educating myself.  I enjoy the opportunity to get to know my patients and build a strong rapport. My hope is to always have a mutual trust and understanding with my patients which in turn allows me to be the best dental hygienist to my patients.  I am certified in local anesthesia, nitrous oxide and laser therapy.
